Due to food allergies, I do a ton of cooking at home. This new chef knife is well-balanced, has a full tang and is a wee bit lighter than my old one of a similar size. It is super sharp and the blade looks thin but thick enough to be sharpened over the years. It makes prep a breeze. Thus would also make an excellent gift dye to the quality if the product and boxed presentation. I do wish it had a sheath for storage in a drawer. Still overall, it's a solid 5.

This is a beautifully made, well designed kitchen knife. It is super sharp, and passes the "arm hair" test. The grind is expertly and evenly done along the length of the blade.

This 8 inch Chef Knife is working great so far. The handle feels great in your hand and the balance of the knife overall feels wonderful. The grip is easy to hold even when the knife is wet. The knife has just the right amount of weight and balance to make prep easy and quick. This is a nice addition to my knife bag has been my goto knife lately.

Extremely sharp and well balanced. The packaging is nice and everything about the knife is great. It cuts so wonderfully! Any knife will eventually need sharpening, but it's a joy out of the box.

Cuts through anything like butter. Knife has a really nice heft to it and it feels exceptionally well made. I like that it's made by a Dutch company, but beware it is unfortunately made in China. Overall I still really like this knife and it will make a great additional to any kitchen.

I purchased this knife a little over a week ago and let me say it has exceeded my expectations. I was a tad skeptical at first when I went to purchase this knife but my concerns have been laid to rest. Instantly when you remove the knife from the box you see the craftsmanship and beauty of the blade. Well let me just say I was even more blown away once the knife was in my hand. You feel the sturdiness of the handle yet still feels super comfortable in the hand. Upon opening the box I ran it through the paper and tomato test…flawlessly executed! Then I took it for a test run through dinner which included fixing up a white onion, few jalapeños, some green onions and a bell pepper. Gave it for a quick hand wash once done and then decided to run it through another round of paper/tomato slicing. Again flawlessly execute. Definitely going to be purchasing more models in the future!

I have not been able to sharpen my existing knives so well, I wonder how long it will last sharp.
